What to do with the spare parts

image

After fighting with this camera for several weeks I decided it was time to fix the AV out jack.
After an hour long disassembly, I find some broken solder joints.
Now the problem is my method of reassembling seems to be more efficient. What should I do with the spare parts?

Choosing an HDSLR – Do you follow the pack?

For the past couple of months, I have been researching a purchase of a new HD-SLR camera. As this is my first HD-SLR, I have been doing a lot of reading, comparing and watching finished products.

How far will you go when God prompts you?

Cleaning House & Being Professional

It’s alright to feel like an idiot with technology once in a while

A few weeks back I got a new Jeep for my wife. She’s loving it and I get to drive it occasionally. But for a while I would turn the Jeep off and the information display would say “message”. I would scroll through all the menus trying to find the message that the Jeep wanted to give me. I was ready to turn in my geek card and read the manual when one day the display said “boneyard”. Then I realized that I was a bonehead and the display was telling me the name of the radio station that was on.
I have no idea why the vehicle information system has to tell me the name of the radio station when I can clearly see it on the radio. Only the engineers at Jeep know that answer. But as for me, I get to keep my geek card and keep this idiot moment a secret between me and you. ;-)
