How about a Dual 6-Core i7 MacPro – Oh Ya!
So the blog world and twitter have been all a buzz about the new Mac Pro and iMac refresh coming soon to an Apple Store near you.
John Grubber of Daring Fireball seems to be putting all his “apples” in one basket on this one. Relaunching his podcast with some hot topical news that any Apple fanboy would want to hear.
But in traditional Apple style, Cupertino is keeping things hush hush. All we know for sure is that retail supply chain has dried up and retailers are being told to keep minimal stock on hand. This is usually the sign of an imminent product refresh from Apple. But imminent does have a time line to it. So we could see this tomorrow, or maybe sometime next month. But needless to say Apple could do with a dose of positive PR right about now, so maybe a product refresh will be sooner then later.
So what are your thoughts? Is Apple going to roll out a new powerhouse of a Mac Pro? Will the iMac’s finally get some iCores?
